Aaradhya Das awesome at 1st AICF Smart Girls Rating 2025 Tripura
WCM Aaradhya Das scored an unbeaten 8.5/9 to win AICF Smart Girls Rating 2025 Tripura. She finished a half point ahead of the rest. Ankita Sarkar scored 8/9 to secure second place. She also remained undefeated. Sumedha Roy scored sole 7/9 to finish third. The total prize fund of the tournament was ₹25000. The top three prizes were ₹5000, ₹3500 and ₹2000 each respectively. Smart Girls rating tournament is just like Chess for Everyone Rating tournament but only for female players, where the entry fee is low. It is organized to encourage more players to play rated tournament at a nominal entry fee and gain/increase their rating. This is Aaradhya's third rating tournament triumph of the year. Aardhya's third rating tournament triumph of the year
Top seed of the tournament, WCM Aaradhya Das was the sole leader 7.5/8, going into the last round. Ankita Sarkar was the only player trailing her by a half point at 7/8. Aaradhya defeated Aradhyaa Choudhuri to become a clear champion. Adrija Saha lost to Ankita and the latter finished second. Ekantika Sarkar suffered defeat aganst Sumedha Roy who claimed third place. Aaradhya is the reigning Tripura State Blitz Rating 2025 and State Amateur Rating 2025 champion.
A total of 64 players participated from various states across the country. The five-day nine-round Swiss league Rating tournament was organized by All Tripura Chess Association at NSRCC in Agartala, Tripura from 18th to 22nd April 2025. The time control for the event was 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move no.1.
