Lucian-Costin Miron wins 18th Arad GP 2025, Manish Anto Cristiano F third

Five players - GM Lucian-Costin Miron (ROU), GM Titas Stremavicius (LTU), IM Manish Anto Cristiano F, GM Pouya Idani (IRI) and GM Adam Kozak (HUN) scored an unbeaten 7/9 each at 18th Arad Grand Prix A (>2000) 2025. Lucian-Costin won the tournament on tie-breaks. The remaining four were placed second to fifth place respectively. The total prize fund was €38000. The top three prizes were €5000, €3000 and €2000 along with a trophy each. The seven-day nine round Rating (>2000) tournament was organized by Romanian Chess Federation and Vados Chess Club Arad at Hotel Continental Forum in Arad, Romania from 3rd to 9th August 2025. The seven-day nine round Rating (>2000) tournament was organized by Romanian Chess Federation and Vados Chess Club Arad at Hotel Continental Forum in Arad, Romania from 3rd to 9th August 2025. The time control was 40 moves in 90 minutes + 15 minutes + 30 seconds increment.
